After her husband mysteriously dies, Norman decides to move with her son to a place called White Pine Bay where she purchases a motel to run a business and she names it “Bates Motel”. With time we realize that Norman is not well psychologically and he has blackouts, which causes him to do things he shouldn’t do. This show is about how a girl who just got out of rehab has a relapse just as soon as she gets out. She involves her friends in her situation, each of whom has problems of their own. They face some turbulence on their flight from Jamaica to New York and once they land in New York, they find out that their plane was missing for five years and all of the passengers were presumed dead. After this incident occurs, the passengers start hearing voices and having visions that guide them to help people. The passengers start referring to these visions and voices as “callings” which they believe are divine. The passengers are stuck between believing in science or the fact that God has chosen them to help people and has given them a second chance at life. Eventually, it becomes the passengers against the world and they have no other option than to help each other out.
